This is a single unit course covering the topics of Savings and Borrowing as well as Networks and Matrices. This unit combined with the Semester 1 course provide the necessary background for Maths Applications at Stage 2 level.- This course is designed to support students to further develop their basic skills in order to prepare them for Mathematics beyond school and for Mathematical Applications in Years 11 and 12.
- This course is designed to prepare students for Mathematics in Year 11 and 12. A focus will be on algebra and extending problem solving skills.
- This course is a Pure Mathematics pathway that allows students to continue with their Mathematics through to University. Topics covered are: Working with Statisitcs, Working with Functions and Graphs using Calculus and Working with Linear Equations and Matrices.

The Research Project is a compulsory subject of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). From 2011, students must complete the 10-credit Research Project for Stage 2 of the SACE, with a C grade or better.
