This is a 2-term program of professional learning for maths teachers in upper primary and lower secondary South Australian schools. It is designed to stimulate deeper and more engaging instruction in mathematics. The program supports teachers in the deep learning of mathematical content as outlined in the Australian Curriculum Mathematics. The project focuses on 3 areas:
- quality task design
- sequencing of conceptual development
- research-informed effective pedagogies.
