An online tool is available to help you customise short versions of department policies for your school.
You can use the tool to create a local:
- attendance policy
- attendance improvement plan
- behaviour support policy
- bullying prevention policy and plan.

Access to the tool
You can access it through EDU portal.
There are two types of access:
- Planner - can use all areas of the tool.
- Actions - can update the actions assigned to them.
Principals and other site leaders should have automatic planner access to the tool.
You will need to check which type of access you have.
- Select the ‘local policy implementation tool’ in your EDU Portal.
- Those with full access can get to the main landing page.
- If you don’t have planning access your principal can provide it for you. See the 'add staff help page' on the intranet.
