In the current COVID-19 situation, it is vital we maintain support for student mental health and wellbeing. As some students might be learning from home, we need to offer support differently. You might need to work remotely. It might be online or by phone. There are two webpages that provide guidance in how you can safely do this:

Remotely support students in their home (EDi login) This guideline has specifically been written for student wellbeing leaders on how you can support students who are undertaking their learning at home.

Protective practices for online learning (EDi login) as a response to COVID-19 and with a shift to online learning for many students, a webpage was developed about how the Protective practices guidelines are used in these circumstances. For the most part, the guidelines continue to apply as they do when children and young people and staff and volunteers are physically present in education and care settings.

COVID-19 page on WIN: we’d also like to remind you all we have a dedicated COVID-19 page on WIN full of information, including resources shared by student wellbeing leaders.
