Sleep is the natural way we restore our body and mind to its normal state of functioning. Most people need 7-8 hours’ sleep but some people can manage on as little as 4-5 hours. The amount of sleep a person needs varies from person to person and generally decreases with age. It is estimated that one in three people experience some sort of sleep problem and 15-20% of adults regularly have trouble sleeping.
