The Department for Education is providing $500 to schools to mark the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) on Friday 18 March 2022 and promote bullying prevention.

Activities can happen throughout the school year. Schools that have previously received NDA funding between 2018-2021 will automatically receive the $500 payment in their March Resource Entitlement Statement (RES). This will be confirmed via email.

For schools that haven’t previously received funding but would like to for 2022, please complete the online form.

The NDA is an annual event that supports schools to work with their school communities to find practical and lasting solutions to bullying and violence. The theme Kindness Culture is being used to mark the 12th anniversary of the NDA this year. In South Australia, schools are encouraged to consider ways to support student-led bullying prevention.

You can register your school for the NDA on the Bullying, No Way! website.

You can access bullying prevention resources and tools on the Department for Education website.
