Up to $5000 of funding available for student-led bullying prevention projects

To celebrate the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, the department has announced that schools can apply for funding of up to $5,000 for projects that support student participation in bullying prevention.

National Day of Action provides an opportunity to consider your schools bullying prevention approaches. Resources available to support you:

  • Lessons for students about South Australian laws relating to bullying, cyberbullying and online safety. The lessons have recently been updated to reflect changes in legislation and the Online Safety Act.
  • Suite of professional development modules to support educators to explore effective practices for recognising and responding to bullying behaviour and cyberbullying.
  • Guides to share with parents and carers on cyberbullying and online safety.
  • To mark National Day of Action eSafety are holding live virtual classrooms on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 March Be an eSafe Kid: A better internet starts with you.
