Your feedback has told us that you need more support to deal with self-harm and suicide ideation in schools. To help navigate this important topic, we will be holding a 1-hour webinar on Wednesday 26 October.

The professional learning webinar will ensure staff:

  • understand why students may self-harm and express suicide ideation
  • know what to do if an incident occurs
  • understand the self-harm, suicide ideation and suicide attempts guideline
  • have opportunities to ask questions to support your role.

Experts from the department and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service will join the webinar to answer any questions.

Create a diary date and use the Microsoft Teams link to join the webinar:

The event can also help you reach your professional development goals.

If you can’t join the webinar live, a recording will be made available.
