Our relationships with parents are at the centre of success for every child.
Parents in Education (PiE) funding of up to $5,000 is available for parent engagement projects. The funding is for projects that help parents engage in their child’s education and to feel empowered to support learning at home through strong partnerships with schools.
Applications for the 2020 funding will be open to our schools and preschools between Monday 11 November and Friday 22 November 2019. Schools will be notified of the outcome of their application in term 4, 2019.
Your school can help parent and carers, governing councils and parent groups by:
- promoting the funding opportunity to their parent and caregiver community
- looking at parent engagement projects that meet the assessment criteria and can get funded
- collecting information that they need for their application. This could include project aims and anticipated outcomes, costings and target groups.
