The Emerging Minds: National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health (NWC), has produced a suite of free evidence-based resources to specifically support the mental health of children before, during, and after a disaster or traumatic event.
Funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and developed in partnership with the Australian Child and Adolescent Trauma, Loss and Grief Network, the Community Trauma Toolkit provides information, education and mental health resources for first responders, health and social service professional workforces, general practitioners, educators, parents/carers, and community leaders.
